The Century of Stories team is now working with one of our village schools …

“Last week we launched a WW1 History project at Anstey Latimer Primary School with 60 enthusiastic year 5&6 pupils.
Thank you to Jed from  UP AN’ AT ‘EM! HISTORY who dressed up as a WW1 soldier and geared the kids up for this 4 week project! Anstey Community Library”

Upcoming projects include a day at Anstey Library researching our folders full of the details of soldiers from the village war memorial, a trip to the Wigston Record Office, and an event sharing all of their hard work with parents at the end of term.
